I suggest buying classy not trendy. Classic pieces never go out of style. A few staples in your wardrobe can go a long way. These pieces will be able to mix and match with each other making dressing easier. Some items to focus on first would be heels, a pair of pants, skirt, jacket, cardigan, blouse and button down collared shirt. Everyone is a different size and can have their own twist on style; some can wear heels, some may want to make that a nice pair of flats. I understand that and will go into more detail later of what I pick for myself and what to look for when you are buying, but for a general idea I'm starting with just the basic pieces. Everyone will have their own preference on brand, but sticking with these cuts will be flattering on anyone. This is the beginning of starting your work wardrobe.
